Welcome to the Wednesday edition of our daily Virginia Trump campaign update! We will provide our readers with daily updates on the Trump Virginia campaign from today to November 3 (and after…if need be!).
It’s officially 49 days until the election on November 3, and 13 days until President Trump and Joe Biden square off in the first presidential debate.
National polling has the race for the White House tightening. The Democrats and the Biden campaign are already gearing up to do everything in their power to de-legitimize a potential Trump victory. But what the Left, especially in the Commonwealth, are likely underestimating is that Trump supporters are mobilizing like never before to make sure their voices are heard for the second time on Election Night.
Meet you in Louisa
The Trump Virginia campaign will be hosting a rally in front of the Louisa County Courthouse Wednesday evening. The event is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. Masks will be handed out, and hundreds of Trump supporters and Virginia Republicans are anticipated to turn out.
Attendees will hear speeches from Nick Freitas, Republican candidate for the House of Representatives, Wendy Gade, the wife of Republican nominee Daniel Gade, who will be challenging Mark Warner for one of Virginia’s Senate seats, and John Fredericks, a Trump 2020 delegate and the chairman of the Trump Virginia Delegation.
“I am so excited to bring the candidates to the people in Louisa and surrounding counties,” said Robin Horn, the Louisa Republican Party chair and organizer of the rally. “This is a chance to hear policy directly from them! And a chance to ask them questions. It is going to let everyone talk with people who have the same concerns we all have for law and order, healthcare and what is happening in Virginia.”
“I am excited to be in Louisa with fellow Virginians who are concerned about the direction of our commonwealth and nation,” said Gade. “My husband, Daniel, has sacrificed and fought for America overseas, fought for Americans with disabilities in three different administrations and is ready to fight for Virginia values as their next U.S. Senator. We are ready to take back Virginia in November.”
